F-0389U is a synthetic, thermo-plastic hot melt adhesive suitable for use as a sealant in the manufacture of automotive lamps. It is suitable for sealing a wide variety of substrates like PP, PMMA and PC
Properties:
- Base: Synthetic Rubber
- Surface Touch: Light Ambient Tack
- Form: Blocks
- Colour: Grey / Black
- Specific Gravity: ~ 0.98
- Application Temperature: 160°C – 180°C
- Softening Point (Ring & Ball): 120°C – 130°C
- Viscosity (Brookfield Viscometer with Thermosel) at 170°C: ~ 40,000 mPa.s (Typical)
- Pull Test (PP – PC; 20C): > 12 Kgf / 20 mm
- PP – PC Wedge Test: No separation and discolouration
- Cold Temperature Resistance: Flexible at -5C
